"And the day came, when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom " Anais Nin
Scope of Practice
I have 20 years of clinical experience in various settings, including university counseling centers, primary care clinic, women’s resource center, cancer wellness house, assisted living facility and community agency. I bring with me a wealth of experience, high attunement, depth, understanding, and compassion. I have been honored to bear witness to some of the most challenging life experiences and the consequent transformations. I believe that we all have within us the capacity to heal ourselves. And that healing happens when you are seen, understood, and supported in making the necessary change in life. My interest areas are the following concerns:
Gender/race/ethnicity/LGBTQ concerns (dealing with oppression of all forms and internalized oppression - racism, sexism, heterosexism, transphobia; racial identity; coming out process; women's and men's concerns; gender identity, materialism)
Grief/loss (death, break-up/separation/divorce, adoptees going through loss, abortion, pet loss)
Family/interpersonal/relationship concerns (wanting to deepen, repair, and/or improve relationships)
Anxiety/panic attacks/obsessive-compulsive behaviors, trichotillomania, and depression
I am currently providing telehealth only. Clients interested in IFS work are welcome. Contact me for a free 15-min phone consultation to see if we are a good fit.
